Here is an original November 1960 VINTAGE (I believe made Nov 1960 The serial number is L0362....) men's Schwinn Jaguar Mark II cruiser bicycle with 26" wheels. It is in the original and very appealing dark RED colored factory paint. If you like hard to find TOP OF THE LINE original vintage bikes, this may be a great bike for you. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike!
*This bike has a cool mens cruiser style frame and forks, large Schwinn head badge, cool original screen chainguard, Schwinn cruiser style seat, (rear tag is bent slightly) wide cruiser handlebars, Schwinn script hand grips, Schwinn full fenders, (I believe these are stainless steel. They have dents) Schwinn Pedals, Schwinn aluminum front carrier RACK, (I believe Mayweg?) and more! This bike is loaded, I mean LOADED with great parts! This bike is very valuable if you had to buy all these hard to find parts individually. I love these bikes and hope you do too! They ride great and look awesome! I BELIEVE this one would have been born with a frame mounted TANK! (see pics and be your own judge)
#Back when these bikes were new, most people opted for the lower cost "no frills" bicycles. Few people purchased the more expensive bikes with "all the bells and whistles" Consequently, you did not see them often back then and are next to impossible to find today! That makes these bikes special! *The tires are 26x1 3/4". They are vintage Schwinn tires and do hold air! The bike has chrome Schwinn S-7 rims front and rear,
*The bike is an original THREE SPEED and the gears do operate. The hand controlled brakes are operable as well. (may need adjustment or possible cable replacement)
*DIMENSIONS The stand over height is approx 30 1/2". The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 28". The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2". The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22". The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust.
*NOTED FLAWS I got this one just like you see it. It was recently removed from very long term storage and cannot wait to be enjoyed once again. The paint is original which is cool! (has chips scratches age etc) I LOVE the nice looking original factory graphics on this one. The chrome is shiny but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (every used bike out there seems to) The kick stand has a fairly good "lean" when standing the bike up. I sold one with a tank just like this for $799.95. I priced this one accordingly. A cool undiscovered bike that has not been owned by collectors. I hope you love it! A cool bike to enjoy for a long time! If you click on any of the pics they get very large to show lots of detail.
